About us The management team and staff at Roberta House and Elizabeth House in Upstreet, Kent have both comprehensive training and many years of experience in caring for and supporting clients with dementia, brain damage and organic mental health issues. Rod and Bobbie Tarry opened Roberta House in 1986, to care for the frail elderly. After three successful years with a strong team caring for a range of elderly clients with a variety of needs, they opened Elizabeth House in 1989. In 2006, we changed our registration to reflect our increasing specialisation in adults under 65 with alcohol-related dementia and related conditions as well as other organic mental health issues. We now support 37 individuals with various forms of alcohol-related dementia, alcohol-related brain damage, hepatic encephalopathy, short term memory loss and related conditions at Roberta House and Elizabeth House and we specialise in clients suffering from Korsakov's syndrome.
